There are 12 videos featuring a team of teens leading the retreat and include topics such as:

• What is a retreat?
• Everyone is part of the story of Creation – including YOU!
• Faith witness story of a teen fearful of going to the Sacrament of Reconciliation, but how God’s grace prevailed
• Bible says game
• Personal reflection of Scripture verses
• Developing a relationship with Jesus
• BREAK TIME!  Seminarian Gus dresses up and plays “mind games” with the students mid-way through the retreat to break things up and have some fun.
• Praying in the presence of Jesus
• Adoration time with live worship music by teens
• How the story of our lives in the faith continues
• Meeting God at mass
• Being open to the Holy Spirit
• Trusting in God’s plan + Confirmation is just the beginning!

The retreat gives young people opportunities for real world encounters with Jesus.

In a culture where it is difficult to exercise our faith, this youth driven video series reveals teens who are alive with faith and whose stories will allow the retreatant to see first hand the importance of a friendship with Christ. 

The video-based content engages youth from beginning to end. 

The retreat takes 1 ½ - 2 hours. It can be completed in one sitting or not – the choice is up to you! As DRE, you can pick a day, weekend, week, or month that all your candidates are required to take the retreat, or let them work at their own pace.

Students are prompted by questions in between each video to reaffirm the content. The next video will not begin until questions are answered correctly.

At the end of the retreat,  students receive a downloadable completion certificate.  

Absolutely! You can play the videos for an in-person group of students, or have all your students complete the retreat at home on their own.

 Once you purchase Ignite for your parish, we will email you a link where your students can access the retreat. Then they can view all the videos and activities at home.
